GCSE write up

when composing my song i wanted it to be about abuse and so i looked at my favourite artists, Adele, Pink, Evanescence and Within Temptation. I wanted my song to have a slow and down feel to it. I listened to a lot of Adele songs to get an idea of how i wanted the melody of my song to sound so it was based mostly on her music. I Listened to the way Pink had her lyrics in her song and based it on the way she wrote her lyrics from childhood experiences. I wanted the basic melody to sound a little bit twinkly and very almost child like as a child would play the same keys over and over. like that so i asked my pianist if she would repeat the chord as it was played.
